| Review: | Lacking Compassion Halifax Int'l to Ottawa Int'l AC681, Ottawa Int'l Toronto, Pearson Int'l AC469: Absolutely horrendous! The flight leaving from Halifax was well over an hour late due to passenger lighting problems. Regardless, as a result of this, myself and a number of other passengers missed our connecting flight in Ottawa, and were scheduled for a substantially later flight. Unfortunately, this resulted in us arriving in Toronto at an unreasonably late hour, and with a 2 hour drive back to my ultimate destination I was not exactly content with the 3 hours of sleep I managed to get before I had to go to work the next day! And what did we recieve for this...absolutely nothing at all but a smug apology, and no compensation whatsoever! In relation to this situation that happened a few weeks ago, I've run into a current situation that I find to be rather ironic. I accept full responsibility that I made a flight in error. I placed my departure as my destination and my destination as my departure. Absolutely idiotic, I know. But what should happen when I call to rectify my idiotic brainfart. I end up paying an additional 320 dollars to my already invested 370 dollars! It would have been an additional 470 dollars if I hadn't gone online and literally proven to the agent that she was overcharging me for the new flight. I particularlly thought this to be very fraudulent behaviour for such a large and well known company. It's really the unjustice of it all. They can make as many mistakes as they want, and you simply have to accept it, but when you make a mistake you recieve absolutley no compassion or sympathy whatsoever. These are key factors to making any business work, and it's clear that Air Canada is lacking them. I will say with full confidence, that I will never fly with Air Canada again. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Air Canada I have flown hundreds of times and Air Canada provided the absolute worst experience of them all. I had to deal with a canceled flight, delays and I haven't seen my luggage in over 2 weeks. Air Canada staff blamed airport staff, other airlines, and even other Air Canada staff. The one thing absolutely none of them would do was accept responsibility or get off their backside. The staff at London Heathrow was defensive and belligerent. I flew Air Canada to save a few dollars but never again. I will gladly pay significantly more to avoid going anywhere near them. Comments [ 1 ] |
