| Review: | They Steal From Your Luggage My wife and I flew from New York to Windhoek with a transfer in Johannesburg. We checked in two bags and those bags did not make the connecting flight. They were delivered on a later flight and when we received them we realized that the locks had been picked and nearly all the gifts we brought for my wife's family were stolen. We filed a claim the next day in Windhoek to a very indifferent staff. In fact, one member named James was quite rude to me when I asked for copies of the claim. After over a month I get a check for less than 5% of the value of the items stolen while in their care as a final settlement. This check had my named spelled wrong so it was worthless. I called to complain and was rudely told that this is their policy. I also informed the person who handled my claim (and had my proper name on the claim, on my tickets, and on my billing info) about my name being spelt wrong. That was almost four weeks ago and they haven't issued a new check. This airline is run by thieves and incompetent rude people. Don't give them your business. |
