| Review: | The entertainment system - is it worth anything? According to the Senior Cabin Crew member on a recent flight trans Atlantic flight it’s worth nothing – at least that’s what he told my family when one of the systems did not work. His helpful comment was that the system is a “nice to have – you only pay for your seats”. I am pleased to confirm that in the lead up to this the crew call buttons were functioning normally – but as the crew were ignoring them one wonders why Swiss bother to have them at all. Subsequent approaches to Swiss have failed to prompt a response. I have a piece of advice for anyone considering Swiss among their airline choices. Find an airline that understands customer service and tries to make the flight an enjoyable experience. As a fall back you could fly Swiss – but make sure you only pay for the seat and they don’t charge you any extra for the in-flight entertainment service! I agree! I just arrived in Zurich on a Swinn International flight from JFK - guess what - entertainment system NOT working! Same nasty response. We were on business class - seats not comfortable, the movie screens are not at your seat but suspended from the ceiling and down the middle every ten seats or so. Not worth paying for business or first class A far cry from Swissair which was over the top with class |
