| Review: | Frontier Plays Tricks with Email Promotions WORST possible customer service ever! Got an email promo to buy a Classic (expensive ticket) and then I would get 25,000 miles in my Early Return account, good for a free ticket. Followed the timing and purchase rules perfectly, but the link maze through the buying process apparently didn't register me for the "right" promo, although they were happy to take my money and book the trip. When my miles didn't show as credited a month later, I called. After 30 min of phone-wait, got the rudest representative. Said I screwed up and wouldn't get my miles. Asked for a supervisor who was equally haughty and said that I would have gotten another email telling me that I was signed up properly for the miles after I booked--but I never saw such a thing on the original email. Rep sent me a DEAD email link to "prove" he was right. Totally useless. Rep said he knew he was "legally right"--oh really? Couldn't prove it, and it certainly wasn't "ethically" right in my opinion. Not the least bit concerned that I was unhappy enough to stop flying Frontier and tell my friends to do the same. VERIFY by phone, email, fax ANYTHING they promo promise; it's not worth the hassle. They look for tricks to deny anything. Took the trip for a price higher than I would have otherwise paid, came home sooner than I would have otherwise, in order to qualify, only to discover the bait n switch scam afterwards. Watch out, the customer & common sense don't matter. Never again. |
