So delayed flights have been in the news a lot since this past winter.  Although, not all are weather related delays, some are computer problems which cause delays while others are mechanical in nature.  Just thank you're lucky stars that you're flight was delayed and didn't have a malfunctioning toilet.

The Russian national airline Aeroflot has just placed an order from Boeing, for some new planes.  As Aeroflot updates its image and safety record, it's getting a new fleet of 787's and A350's to expand its flight service to more Western Countries as well as China.

Was your flight delayed today?  This time around it's not the weather's fault.  You can blame the FAA, as the delays that reveberated across multiple carriers in mutliple cities was the culprit.  This is no consolation to passengers whose travel plans may have been ruined in the process.

Yet another airline will be offering all business class seats for Trans-Atlantic flights.  However this is not an upstart airline trying to muscle its way into the new upscale segment or airlines.  The airline that will be offering this new business class airline is none other than Virgin Atlantic.

A new Virgin will be serving US travelers by mid summer when the airline passes final Department of Transportation approval. Virgin America has tentatively been cleared for flight as it has passed ownership rules and safety reviews by the FAA.

As the weather affects much of the Northeast yet again, many airlines are canceling a large number of flights. The airlines are canceling these flights sooner rather than later and avoiding keeping passengers trapped on grounded planes for hours. The airlines are now trying to get ahead of the weather, and at least keeping travelers happier.
